Mental health is an increasingly prominent issue that cannot be overstated. We have observed the daily struggle of those close to us, as well as our own battles. The defining moment that inspired our mission was a profound and seemingly endless bout with depression followed by the death of a twin brother. During his funeral service, one thing became clear: the overwhelmingly positive impact he had on everyone who attended.
He was praised for his kindness, whether it was assisting the elderly or advising young people, despite being young himself. His positivity and acceptance of others made him endearing, even as he faced his own dark challenges. Tragically, his struggle with addiction ended his life prematurely, but he was a beacon of light to many during his short time with us.
Reflecting on his life, we chose to adopt his positive and accepting attitude, opting for gratitude over complaining. This change transformed our lives for the better and that was just the beginning of the journey. Today, we live by his principles and encourage others to do the same.
